You are asked this during registration, as its own question. It is never bundled in with agreeing to our policies, and nothing is chosen for you.
Every photograph on this site was chosen and put up by hand, by us — where children appear in one, that decision was made by the person who holds your consent form, not by a website. Your answer at registration governs every photograph taken from that day on.
Photos we publish are re-saved without the hidden data your phone or camera adds, which includes GPS coordinates. A picture of a child should never carry where it was taken.
